Install whatever software you need, change system configuration, and run services that shared hosting does not permit. The machine is yours to configure rather than one you are a tenant on.
How quickly will my server be ready?
Minutes. Provisioning is automated rather than queued for someone to build by hand, so the server exists and is reachable shortly after the order completes.
Can I change plan later without rebuilding?
Yes. Moving up adds CPU, memory or disk to the server you already have, so your setup stays as it is instead of needing to be recreated somewhere new.
